Buckeyes rise to No. 1 in updated Top 25
Spring practices have wrapped up, so it's time to take another look at the preseason top 25. Injuries, suspensions and dismissals littered the spring, but how did they affect the rankings? Well, to start things off, there's been a change at the top.

1. Ohio State Buckeyes
Raise your hand if you want to see the Buckeyes back in the BCS title game … didn't think so. But with an extraordinary number of juniors and seniors returning, Ohio State seems poised to become the first team in the 112-year history of the Big Ten to win three straight outright league titles. Even if the Buckeyes lose at USC on Sept. 13, they might end up playing in the BCS title game in Miami on Jan. 8.

The only real problem with this is that it does have an effect on the rankings at the end of the year.  tOSU will play the majority of their schedule in the really bad BIG-10 (11).  Other teams will have to play actual competition and I am including the WAC, Big-Sky, and the ACC in that statement.

The Big 10 has been weak. Zook and Rodriguez will make it better, but the Big 10 will not compare to the greatest conference in the land....SEC.
Look for Corso and Herbstreit to worship OSU until BCS time.
There’s a reason the Big 10 is thru playing by 2pm on Saturdays, and the SEC is on PrimeTime.

Yes, Zook can do something about the BIG-10 (11).  Of course he isn’t good enough to coach in the SEC, except maybe at State, Ole Miss, or Kentucky.  He can’t read or write so working at Vandy is out of the question.

Thank goodness that there is one damn sports-guy around that knows what the Hell he is talking about.  Keep up the good work and go out on a limb occassionally and bad-mouth your peers on the show.  You could only fill the rest of your life doing it.  But it would be like taking candy from a baby.
