Ole Miss 9, Arkansas State 4
JONESBORO, Ark. - Freshman third baseman Logan Williams hit the first home run of his career, a go-ahead two-run shot in the eighth inning, to lead the Rebels (27-15) over the Indians (16-26) on Wednesday night.
Williams was one of three Rebels to record two hits on the night, joining Jordan Henry and Zach Miller.

Reliever Rory McKean (4-0) picked up the win despite yielding a game-tying two-run home run to Arkansas State's Murray in the seventh.

Scott Bittle held ASU hitless over the final 1 1/3 innings for his fifth save.

They can but that don’t mean they will.I think starting pitching is good enough, middle relievers are ok, and the closer is good.It’s those on again off again bats that are troubling.Another 9 game win streak and they are sitting pretty.Lose this series at home to Arky and it’s “Houston, we have a problem”
