Gotta Go to Modell for NFL Labor Solution

Former Ravens president David Modell says the NFL's looming labor woes are easy to solve—just make him the "czar" of a new committee. In an essay to be published online, Mr. Modell, now a businessman and commentator, would split all NFL revenue equally among owners and penalize teams that don't try hard enough to contribute. He also wants Steelers owner Dan Rooney, serving as ambassador to Ireland, to come home. "What the heck is he doing in Ireland when we need him?" asks Mr. Modell. The Steelers had no comment.
