The criticism that Urban Meyer didn’t try to help Tim Tebow improve his throwing mechanics is way off base

The news story on Monday that Tim Tebow says he has worked diligently to improve his throwing mechanics over the last month has had an unintended consequence.

Much of the national talk this week has turned into a rip-job of Urban Meyer for caring more about winning than developing his players for the NFL (while conveniently ignoring the fact that 10 Gators are headed to the NFL Combine this weekend, and another Gator (Percy Harvin) is going to win the NFL Rookie of the Year Award).
