Recruiting stunt by USC football coach Lane Kiffin involving David Sills raises bigger NCAA concern
USC's new football coach Lane Kiffin has offered a scholarship and accepted a commitment from David Sills, a 13-year old quarterback from Bear, Del.
Sills - a seventh grader who attends Bear Mountain Christian Academy - has been to California a few times each year since 2006 and has worked out with trainer Steve Clarkson who tutored both Matt Leinart and current starting quarterback Matt Barkley.
Kiffin made the offer after watching Sills on YouTube.
