Will Muschamp, Les Miles disagree on future of Florida-LSU rivalry; other Gators updates
Because of the addition of Texas A&M and Missouri, the SEC is working this week on a permanent scheduling model to institute beginning in 2013. Gators coach Will Muschamp has three demands: 1. Keep the conference schedule at eight games, 2. Play all divisional opponents, 3. Keep Florida and LSU as permanent rivals.
LSU coach Les Miles disagrees with that last one. Maybe.

In typical Miles style, it is tough to discern what point he was trying to make when he discussed the topic in Destin this morning. The best guess at what he meant was that Florida and LSU have no geographical tie and it is unfair for LSU to play a perennially good team like the Gators while Mississippi State gets Kentucky (my example, not his).
