Ole Miss plans to tweak drug policy

OXFORD — Ole Miss is in the process of reviewing an athlete drug policy that has been considered among the more lenient in major college football.

“We’re going to adjust it,” coach Hugh Freeze said. “Don’t know exactly what it is going to be at this point, but we’re going to get that done.”

Freeze and new athletics director Ross Bjork inherited the current policy, which does not require an automatic suspension (three games) until the third failed drug test.
